CCCB 27

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

This week at City Crafter's we are visiting Rome !

I have always thought this would be a magnificent city to visit.

Being as I am married to a man whose grandparents came from Rome, I feel pretty connected. I try to fulfill a couple old Italian traditions still, mostly at the holidays.

My father-in-law always made his own wine. That was some potent stuff - and he would fill up old apple cider bottles we had saved. That is why I chose to do a purple card - a toast to that old wine... and I guess a toast too, to him. He was a wonderfully fun man, who cared about us all very much, and I will miss him for the rest of my life.

  4. This is probably my favorite card that you've ever made. When it came up on my reader, it took my breath away. Those colors are absolutely gorgeous and your little sentiment tags are just perfect for Kirsty's challenge. You nailed this one girl. Wouldn't be surprised if you win again. Huge Hugs!
