I may be retired, but I still love the weekends.

Dom still has a couple more years before retirement, so weekends are always important, breakfast out, shopping, other fun things we do together.

The flowers at our grocers are so inexpensive right now !

Dom brought me home a dozen white roses, $6.95, can you imagine.

And I picked up a dozen daffodils for $1.99.  So cheerful !!!

My best friend Rufina just retired, and I am sure loving that.  We went out for breakfast this morning, and a long long talk.  So fun !!

Today, a most unusual post-winter day,

the birds are so loud !

I am indoors, only because I am watching this week's PGA tournament.

Robert Garrigus, an old old friend, is leading the tournament by 4 strokes.

Very exciting for us, every time he is in contention.

He takes a lot of risks, and he always called Brie

ROBO  because she always plays straight up the middle.

Anywhere, but first,

Today my husband had his 9th dilation procedure since November.  He is always sedated for these, and usually bounces back from the anesthesia pretty quickly.

Today he was in the recovery room, and it was all very quiet as there were only two patients left after surgery.  Suddenly he spoke up

Lets buy a dog !!

And all the nurses at once shouted "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!"

He didn't even remember saying it.  lol.
