Papercraft Star 106

♥♥♥♥♥

What an incredible photo, all aged and crinkley, my favorite browns.

I thought for sure I would be doing a card just like it, but somehow, somehow, it turned out like this ??

How does that happen ??  I thought I took out the brown stuff, but it turned all soft and girly and pink.

So, at Papercraft Star this week our challenge is to use a map.  When I made this card I was thinking about someone from long ago, a woman who left behind her dear friends to come to America to seek a husband, a man who didn't know about her past.

I just finished watching "Wives and Daughters", and sadly, a young lady's reputation was put at risk as she was seen passing a note to a gentleman.  tsk tsk

Stop in at Papercraft Star - another simple challenge for you.  Maps don't have to be about men !

Card stock - Bazzill
Design Paper - Kaiser Craft, 7 Gypsies
Stamps - TPC, Tim Holtz
Ink - Mixed Media Colorbox
Hook brad - Karen Foster
Charms and ribbon - stash

  2. Beautiful card, Jan, I love all the sweet images! You captured the essence of a long journey, I can't even image having made it as I can't handle 10 hours on a plane. I remember my first trip to Singapore, it was a 24 hour trek with my three children and my Andrew,a 6week old baby!!!Yes, I am enjoying the Olympics! Have a wonderful day.
