CCCB 52

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Happy Birthday week over at City Crafters ! They are celebrating their first year out here in card bloggy land. I didn't make it to their very first challenge, but I was there for the second one, an easel card. Since then I have managed 15 Spotlight Artists awards, and two wins. AND thank you to my lady friends at CCCB for the win last week - I was really surprised !!

So, their challenge this week is a birthday card, with a Sylvia Nelson
creation as our inspiration. I chose the pearls and embossing as my inspiration.

A very easy and simple card, not a lot of rah rah, but something I hope will be meaningful !

Oh, and the purple is just because I always seem to think 'purple' when I participate at CCCB, I dunno what that is all about !

Purple paper on ribbon slide - The House Across the Bay
Cardstock - Coredinations, Recollections
Pearls - Recollections
Sentiment - computer generated
Tag - stash
Jewelry cording - stash
Ribbon - Stash
Embossing folder - Cuttlebug
Ribbon Slide - Spellbinders

  2. Beautiful "cased" card, I love how you pick up the embossed background (just like I did, LOL), and the tiny pearls, so sweet! I am so glad that you are here with us at this special occasion, you are one of regular at CCCB, thanks for celebrating our 1st birthday with us at CCCB!

I know why you think "purple" when it comes to CCCB, because Kirsty is a big fan of the color purple, we must be connected somewhere.. LOL!
