Papercraft Star 42

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Papercraft Star is celebrating Earth Day this week, and requiring something recycled. Other than using scraps for a card, flowers are just about the easiest thing you can do to recycle on a card.

This particular flower was made from a chocolate box liner. Very easy, and a nice texture when completed. Just randomly cut circles (or ovals) from the liner, punch a hole in the middle for a brad, and curl the petals. This is about a 3 minute flower, but only if you spend a lot of time foofing and mashing it up.

In Oregon recycling or repurposing is second nature, and isn't given any thought any more. It is assumed that is how we live our lives. Even our recycling center is beautiful - and includes a wedding chapel, gardens, and a life-sized rhino. Not much goes to the landfill here.

Link up your creations celebrating Earth Day, at Papercraft Star. You have until Sunday at 9pm, Eastern US time - see you there !!!
