Papercraft Star 46

It is always strange to me just how far we actually range from our initial inspiration ! Papercraft Star 46 opens today, and I see all the DT 's projects run all over the place.

I am working on making more feminine cards with my favorite card colors. I think I made this one neutral though ! Or close to it.

The Tim Holtz fragment has an ink technique I picked up from the Compendium - page 55. I need a little practice with this, but I thought it turned out well for my first attempt.

Link up between now and Sunday !! See you at Papercraft Star.

  1. This card is beautiful Jan! I love the fragment piece and the image of the bird. The colors are great. I think your right about it being a neutral card. Great work!

  2. Love the botanical papers that you used. What a pretty design. :)

  3. I love the little border with the beehives and the neutral palette is so pretty!

  4. Those fragments are so fun to work with. I don't have any like this. All mine are the charm kind. You defintely nailed neutral and a fantastic neutral it is. Great mix of textures and patterns. You rock woman!

  5. Cool card Jan, I like the border. Lots of texture on this one, really nice!

  6. I adore the papers that used for this project... a gorgeous mix of patterns and textures totally.

  7. I love the distress inks you've used on this card. It's a lovely combination of soft and vintage. Beautiful!
