Papercraft Star has a back-to-school challenge theme this week. Here is the picture for some inspiration - as always, you can use it if you choose, but I went a different route. (and shame on me, since I chose the picture !!)
Normally I would jump at the chance to use all these gorgeous colors, and who doesn't look at a box of many crayons and think of the possibilities ! (you Copic people, you know EXACTLY what I mean !!) But this is what I did instead...
I made a little "notebook", even found a paper ruler to stick into it. I have saved those stickers for about a year and a half, just for this card, and even bought the paper in May, in Reno, anticipating a back-to-school challenge. The Tim Holtz die, and the paper punch, all bought just for this card. All the little detail paper from theHouseAcrosstheBay fit just perfectly. So, I am guessing the total cost was about $30 for the card, lol. It was so much fun to make !! (I will make up for that price, right ?? right ??)
This week we are introducing our new design team members ! Jennifer of Ferrellgraph-x, and Anitra, of Stamping While They Sleep. We are really excited to be expanding our little Papercraft Star Team. We think you are going to like what you see !!
I am also entering this into the following challenges:
Craft your Passion - Snarky remarks (Yup Yup, mine is !)
The Crazy Challenge - Back to school
Snap Creations - Back to school
Party Time Tuesdays - Back to school
Use it Tuesday - Back to school, hoarded supplies
Die Cuttin Divas - Special teacher, die cuts (get out of bed is for teachers too !!)
Tags and background - theHouseAcrosstheBay
Cardstock - Reflections
Design Paper - Bo Bunny, TPC
Ink - Ranger Distress
Stickers - MAMBI
Clips - Tim Holtz
Die Cuts - Tim Holtz
Punch - EK Success
Link up between now and Monday 6 am Eastern US at Papercraft Star - prizes AND fun !! See you there.
