we've got some work to do now

♥♥♥♥♥

It is cloudy and 67 degrees here on a Sunday afternoon - summer has only come in teeny little bunches here.

*sigh*

Today's post goes in 3 different directions !

Sweet Stampin - Monochromatic

Crafting When We Can - also Monochromatic

and

retro sketches with this sketch ...

and here is my monochromatic and sketchy card !

I hand doodled the tag, and behind it is a hand cut embossed image from THoltz, using some old packaging.

I already had the tag made, well, started I guess, with ink and the doodle, so the color just followed.

Card stock - Bazzill
Design paper - Basic Grey
Circle, tag, flowers - Recollections
Sentiment and tape - Tim Holtz
Ink - Ranger
Glimmer mist - 7 Gypsies
Lace, ribbon, jewelry cording, key hole - stash

  5. Beautiful tag, Jan, love the lock! As for me moving toward art, I go in and out depending on my mood. I started out a painter, gave that up when my first was born! Have a wonderful day!
