CCCB56

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

City Crafter has a great challenge this week, something about the sea !

First off, I need to thank all my lady friends over at CCCB for the win that was announced last week. I was gone on vacation, so this is the first chance I have had to say YIPPEE and Thank You all so very much !!! And I thought it was so fun that my buddies Tracy and Ira won the Spotlight awards too !

Yup, just back from vacation, and how appropriate that I was visiting the ocean, at least part of the time. In Northern California and Oregon we just don't have those beautiful blue skies and tropical water that one associates with a lovely beach. Just a lot of rain, grey clouds, grey water, cold weather, but I never get tired of seeing the waves on the sand or the rocks.

So, I made a card that reflects a little bit more about how I see the ocean. The papers are all handmade, except for the cardstock, and the beautiful tall ship is an image from The House Across the Bay etsy shop. That is all that comprises this card. Hope you like it !!

Did you know that as Lewis and Clark neared the Pacific Ocean they began to see items that had been traded to the natives from the tall ships, just like this one.
