365 Cards - cotton

What makes us think of cotton ? That was the question posed to us today by 365 Cards.

For me it is bed and summer sheets. Alas, I am allergic to everything , so cotton plays a large part in my life. (Hey how can you be allergic to trees, grass, flowers and NOT allergic to cotton, I just thought of that.) Hmmm.

A hmmm sort of day all around.

You know, no one makes a stamp that says "have a nice nap" or I would have used it...

  1. Oh, gosh, be glad you aren't allergic to cotton. I have a friend who is, and she and her husband have to sleep on satin sheets.

    Very cute card!

  2. What a great idea for a card - what did you use to make the pattern on the sheets? or is that the print of the paper?

  4. The white is a nicely textured stock paper, the green chenille is from Crafty Secrets (paper I use A LOT but generally as a background) the only embellies are the ribbon on the pillows, and the rickrack, oh and I embossed the pillowcases. It looks like such a simple card - why did it take me hours to make ?
